"Helping students to become whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ."
Here at Northgate Student Ministry, we don't see students as the church of tomorrow – we see students as the church of today! If we don't reach this generation today, there will be NO church of tomorrow. We want each student to know that he or she is an active and important part of the whole church body. The Student Ministry at Northgate is a priority, and we want to make sure that students in the surrounding communities know that we have a place just for them!
The Student Ministry consists of the following age groups:
NORTHSIDE: Middle School (6th - 8th grade)
EPIC: High School (9th - 12th grade)
We know that students are going through a lot of crazy stuff right now. It's important to surround yourself with people who have your best interests at heart. At Northgate Student Ministry midweek services, we are all about doing life together. Our small groups allow for personal growth time with God, as well as create opportunities to grow together as a community. We are intentional in our discussions, relational in our conversations, and practical in our application. We want to see students grow in their relationship with the LORD and continue to ask the tough questions while seeking the right answers.
GALATIANS 6:2 (NIV) says, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
We are very much aware of the struggles today and of the consequences surrounding them. That is why we meet – to share in very REAL experiences with each other and discuss how God is moving in our lives. We provide the open door; it's up to you to walk through and meet the Creator of the universe.
It is our prayer in Student Ministries that students are able to connect with God and each other, are able to serve others in the church and outside of the church, and share their story about how Christ has changed their lives.
